Bedford Autodrome

Bedford Autodrome is unique amongst our UK trackday venues in that it doesn't hold any racing.  This means there are no safety barriers or obstacles, just vast run off areas that justify its claim as the safest circuit in the country.  The track is a private facility owned by MSV whose Chief Executive, former F1 driver Johnathan Palmer, designed the circuit for use purely as a test and corporate experience venue. There are over 5 miles of track, all laid with a super smooth, noise reducing surface and featuring 34 different configurations of which we use the 2.85 mile long Southwest Circuit.  As might be expected of an ex F1 driver, the circuit has been designed to have a mixture of fast straights, sweeping curves and some more technically demanding corners.  And as might be expected of a circuit playing host to corporate types, the off track facilities are top notch.  However, as a purpose built test facility there are no spectator areas other than the paddock; for this reason under 16s are not permitted on site and any other spectators will need to be booked into the venue with MSV.
