Jerez regularly hosts top class motorsport and has been a regular fixture on the MotoGP calendar since it was built in 1986. The circuit is situated in the far south of Spain in the warm sherry producing region. The surface is super smooth and grippy, with vast run off areas. The layout makes for a fast, flowing circuit that culminates in a series of mega fast right handers just before the famous final hairpin.
