Anglesey International

One of the UK's newer circuits, Anglesey nestles amid stunning coastal scenery with the Irish Sea as a backdrop and views across to the Snowdonia National Park. Its spectacular and photogenic setting means it's a favourite with the motoring media and has been likened to Australia's Phillip Island circuit. From humble beginnings in 1997, the circuit was redeveloped beyond all recognition in 2006 with four configurations that make the most of the natural landscape and fully utilise the elevation changes. No Limits use the International configuration with its fast sections, technical mid-range corners and two hairpins, and the slightly shorter Coastal configuration which features the thrilling downhill Corkscrew section. Both include the phenomenal 10% Banking section. Most corners can be seen ahead, and none of the sections unexpectedly tighten up, meaning rolling off the gas is usually enought to correct any errors. The track is 12m wide at its narrowest, making it second only to Silverstone in the UK for width, and the surface is renowned for being smooth and grippy. A newly completed Pit Complex, with much awaited garages, means the quality of the facilities finally match the superb on track experience.
